🔌 Function

Returns leak-off fuel from the injectors to the low pressure side of the fuel system.

⚠️ Common Signs of Failure

  • Diesel smell and wet film around the injectors
  • Fuel weeping at the leak-off unions
  • Diesel tracking down the cylinder head
  • Line cracked or split at a bend or a union
  • Sealing washers hardened and flattened on removal

  • Renew all the sealing washers on the line, as one hardened washer will keep it weeping
  • Leak-off pipe 3826383 at 62 grams is a separate, smaller part for TWD engines and not an alternative here
