🔌 Function
Carries the fan on the drive, setting the fan's speed ratio relative to the crankshaft and holding the blade set square to the radiator.

- Rumbling or growling from the fan drive that changes with speed
- Fan visibly wobbling or running out of true
- Bearing play felt when the fan is rocked by hand
- Belt running off line or wearing on one flank
- Grease weeping from the hub seal
🛠️ Service Notes
- Check the fan ratio and the 55 mm length against your installation - a hub of the wrong length puts the fan out of the shroud plane
- Renew the belt and reset alignment after fitting, and check fan-to-shroud clearance all round
