⚙️ Key Features

• 4.766 kg
• Alternator, Charging, Electric Motor and Electric Drives group
• 31 applications across D, TAMD and MD engines

🔌 Function

Provides a fixed mounting face that is welded into the structure to carry the equipment bolted to it.

⚠️ Common Signs of Failure

• Cracks running from the weld toe or a mounting hole
• Mounting holes elongated from working loose
• Corrosion or scaling at the welded joint
• Mounted equipment shifting or vibrating
• Plate distorted or pulled out of flat

🛠️ Service Notes

• This is a weld-in fitting rather than a bolt-on part, so installation needs proper welding and, in a survey or engine space installation, the right precautions - plan for that before ordering
• Check that the structure it welds to is sound, since a cracked plate usually follows a weak or corroded backing

📦 Condition

• Genuine Volvo Penta part
