• 7 applications across TWD and TAD series engines
• Supersedes 876831
• Ring set for one piston

🔌 Function

Seals the combustion chamber against the cylinder wall, controls oil on the bore and carries heat from the piston into the liner.

⚠️ Common Signs of Failure

• Blue smoke and rising oil consumption
• Crankcase pressure blowing oil mist from the breather
• Poor compression and hard starting
• Rings found stuck, broken or carbon-glazed in the grooves
• Bore glaze or scuffing seen on strip-down

🛠️ Service Notes

• Check the bore and ring gaps before fitting, since new rings will not save a worn or glazed liner
• One kit covers a single piston, so count the cylinders when ordering
• Renew the ring set and gaskets together and bed the engine in gently
