🔧 Product Description

Genuine Volvo Penta exhaust pipe elbow from the Inlet and Exhaust System group, weighing 6.70 kg and listed for 4 applications on D series engines.

🚤 Compatibility

Typically suits:

  • Volvo Penta D7A-B TA
  • Volvo Penta D7A-T
  • Volvo Penta D7A-TA
  • Volvo Penta D7C-B TA
  • Engine Family: D

⚙️ Key Features

  • 6.70 kg
  • 4 D series applications
  • Inlet and Exhaust System group
  • Heavy cast or fabricated bend

🔌 Function

Turns the exhaust run through a bend at the engine outlet so the pipework can be led away without a sharp restriction.

⚠️ Common Signs of Failure

  • Soot staining or a blowing sound at either joint
  • Corrosion through on the outer wall of the bend
  • Cracks at the flange root or a weld
  • Sealing face distorted so gaskets keep blowing
  • Exhaust noticeably louder or fumes in the engine space

🛠️ Service Notes

  • Renew the gaskets and fixings at both ends and check both mating faces are flat
  • Support the weight of the elbow while fitting so the joint is not loaded off-square

📦 Condition

  • Genuine Volvo Penta part
  • Brand new
  • Supplied in original or equivalent packaging
