  • For engines up to serial number 2016142006
  • 243 grams
  • 18 applications across TAD, D and TWD series
  • Engine group

🔌 Function

Sets the designed standoff between two parts so the assembly is clamped at the correct spacing without distortion.

⚠️ Common Signs of Failure

  • Ends burred, dented or worn so the spacing is no longer accurate
  • Mounted component sitting skewed or under strain
  • Fasteners repeatedly working loose
  • Corrosion scaling or swelling on the body
  • Spacer cracked or crushed after overtightening

🛠️ Service Notes

  • Check the engine serial number first — this spacer is listed up to serial number 2016142006 and later engines used a different arrangement
  • Adapter 3838498 shares the same serial limit and the same 18 applications, so the two are usually renewed together

📦 Condition
