🔌 Function

Carries coolant between two points on the engine as a rigid formed pipe, keeping the run clear of hot and moving parts.

⚠️ Common Signs of Failure

• Coolant weeping, or white and green crusting along the pipe
• Corrosion pitting, worst under clamps and brackets
• Wall chafed thin where the pipe touches a bracket
• Coolant level dropping with no visible external leak
• Connection ends belled or scored so hoses will not seal

🛠️ Service Notes

• An engine listed against 865241 takes this pipe instead
• Coolant pipe 3825627 is a similarly large TAMD pipe at 2.867 kg, 91 grams apart, so compare the route as well as the number
• Renew the hoses, clamps and seals at both ends and refit the pipe on all its original supports
