🔌 Function

Sets the correct standoff between two mating components, spacing and aligning them as assembled.

• Component it spaces sitting proud, low or out of line
• Plate distorted, dished or fretted on the mating faces
• Repeated loosening of the fasteners through the joint
• Corrosion pitting where the faces trap moisture

🛠️ Service Notes

• If the old part on the engine is a rubber cushion, this plate is the current replacement for it and the joint will behave differently
• Check both mating faces for flatness and clean off all old sealant or gasket
