🔧 Product Description

Genuine Volvo Penta pipe connection from the Inlet and Exhaust System group, weighing 2.223 kg and listed for 2 applications on TAD series engines. It supersedes part number 3847798.

🚤 Compatibility

Typically suits:

  • Volvo Penta TAD1346GE
  • Volvo Penta TAD1344-45GE-B
  • Engine Family: TAD

⚙️ Key Features

  • 2.223 kg
  • 2 applications on TAD series engines
  • Supersedes 3847798

🔌 Function

Joins two pipe sections and holds them in line, sealing the joint against the pressure and heat passing through it.

⚠️ Common Signs of Failure

  • Blow, hiss or soot trace at the connection
  • Cracks at a weld or flange
  • Sealing or flange faces distorted so a new gasket will not seal
  • Fasteners seized, or the joint needing repeated retightening

🛠️ Service Notes

  • It replaces the adjacent number 3847798, so an older parts list may show that number for the same position
  • Renew gaskets and any heat-cycled fasteners, and check both pipe ends for flatness before assembly
