3849613 Pressure testing kit | Genuine Volvo Penta Part

🔧 Product Description

Genuine Volvo Penta 3849613, weighing 2.372 kg. Volvo Penta's own special tools catalogue designates it a pressure testing kit, and gives the same designation to the number it supersedes, 885531, which an earlier record here had down as a sensor. So this is one testing kit replacing another, and the coverage grows with it: 885531 is listed for the D3 range alone, where 3849613 is listed for the D3, D9, D11 and D13 engines, for IPS and for the TAD range, 194 product designations in all.

⚙️ Key Features

• Designated a pressure testing kit in Volvo Penta's special tools catalogue
• 2.372 kg
• Supersedes 885531, which the tool catalogue also designates a pressure testing kit
• Listed for the D3, D9, D11 and D13 engines, IPS and the TAD range

🔌 Function

Supplies as one item the gauge and connections needed to pressure test the system the procedure covers, and reads the pressure against the specified figure.

⚠️ Common Signs of Failure

• Needle no longer returning to zero at rest
• Readings drifting rather than settling
• Connection threads damaged, so the kit will not seal to the test point
• Hoses or adapters missing from the set
• Readings that disagree with a known-good instrument on the same point

🛠️ Service Notes

• The number it replaces, 885531, is listed for the D3 range only, so an older tool list will not show the wider coverage this kit carries
• It is supplied as a kit, so check the set is complete before starting
• Depressurise the circuit before connecting or disconnecting
