🔌 Function

Sets a fixed clearance or standoff in the oil system assembly, so the parts it separates keep their intended positions.

⚠️ Common Signs of Failure

• Oil leak or pressure loss at the joint it spaces
• Spacer ends bruised, burred or distorted
• Bright fretting on the faces it sits between
• Assembly loosening in service

🛠️ Service Notes

• At 2.3 grams this is easily dropped and lost during assembly, so fit it before the surrounding parts go back
• Do not substitute a washer stack, as the spacer length sets the clearance
