Locks the propeller nut against the hub so it cannot back off in service.

⚠️ Common Signs of Failure

• Propeller nut found loose or backed off
• Tabs cracked or broken where they were bent over
• Washer already flattened from a previous refit
• Propeller movement or knocking on the shaft taper

🛠️ Service Notes

• A lock washer is single use - fit a new one every time the propeller nut is disturbed, never re-bend the old tabs
• It comes in the S-drive hub kit, so check the kit before ordering the washer separately
• Inspect the shaft taper and key at the same time for signs the propeller has been working loose
