⚙️ Key Features

  • 47.6 g
  • Supersedes 984412, earlier called an elbow nipple
  • 11 applications across D and VMM
  • Fuel System group
  • 2 used per assembly

🔌 Function

Provides the threaded connection point that a fuel line is made up to.

⚠️ Common Signs of Failure

  • Fuel smell or a varnished, damp film at the connection
  • Weeping at the thread or sealing face
  • Air drawn in, giving rough running or hard starting
  • Thread or seat damaged, or the fitting cracked

🛠️ Service Notes

  • Any fuel leak in an engine space is a fire risk - make the joint up properly and pressure-check it before running
  • The old number was listed as an elbow nipple, so expect an angled connection when cross-referencing 984412
  • Renew the sealing washer at the joint rather than reusing it
