  • Water found inside the transom shield or bellows
  • Weeping or staining at the sealed joint
  • Seal distorted, hardened or split when removed
  • Corrosion on the sealing face it runs against

  • This is the heavier of the two transom kit seals at 0.084 kg; the lighter one is 3852548 at 0.041 kg
  • Fit the whole transom seal kit rather than one seal, since the shield has to come off either way
