• 0.293 kg
• 41 DPX applications
• Engine group

🔌 Function

Controls the movement of oil or gas inside its housing, keeping flow where it is wanted and reducing surge.

⚠️ Common Signs of Failure

• Oil carried over into the breather or inlet
• Baffle cracked, split or fretted at its fixings
• Fixings slack or missing so the baffle rattles
• Oil surging away from the pickup in a turn or heavy sea
• Damage on the baffle face where it has been struck by something loose

🛠️ Service Notes

• Check for the debris that damaged the old baffle before closing up, as anything left inside will damage the new one
• Fit the fixings to the specified torque - an over-tightened baffle will crack at the bolt holes
