⚙️ Key Features

• 2.3 grams
• 38 applications
• DPX series
• Cables and Fuses group

🔌 Function

Holds the crimped terminals in alignment where two lengths of the harness meet, keeping the contact firm and dry.

⚠️ Common Signs of Failure

• Circuit dropping in and out when the harness is moved
• Powdery green corrosion around the contacts
• Latch or locking tab cracked, so the joint will not stay closed
• Contacts spread or pushed back out of their cavity

🛠️ Service Notes

• Connector 3855244 carries the identical name, weight and 38 DPX applications - nothing published separates the two, so order by part number against your wiring breakdown
• Renew the seal and any pushed-back terminal at the same time rather than reusing a corroded contact

📦 Condition

• Genuine Volvo Penta part
• Brand new
• Supplied in original or equivalent packaging
