⚙️ Key Features

• For the DPX family
• 27 listed applications
• 0.610 kg

🔌 Function

Carries coolant or raw water between two points in the cooling circuit while allowing for movement and vibration.

⚠️ Common Signs of Failure

• Coolant weeping or spraying from the hose or its clips
• Hose gone soft, spongy or swollen when squeezed
• Cracks or crazing near the ends
• Ballooning under pressure when hot
• Temperature rising because flow is restricted by a collapsed hose

🛠️ Service Notes

• Renew the clips with the hose and check the spigots for corrosion or roughness
• A hose that has softened or hardened is due for renewal even if it is not leaking yet, since a cooling failure at sea is a serious matter
