Type D is the earlier aluminium Duoprop range for Aquamatic DPS and DPS-A sterndrives with straight propeller-shaft splines. Volvo Penta has replaced the Type D propeller sets with Type I sets, but the Type D front and rear propellers are still sold individually as spare parts. This is the D7 rear propeller; the matching front propeller is 3856347 - no complete set number is listed in this dimension. Every set of Duoprop propellers is designed, tested and manufactured together, so the front and rear propellers of a dimension belong to each other.

🔌 Function

Forms the aft half of a Duoprop counter-rotating pair, turning the opposite way to the front propeller and recovering its swirl as extra thrust.
