⚙️ Key Features

• 2.631 kg
• From the Cooling System group
• Supersedes 3854017
• Listed for 19 applications

🔌 Function

Drives coolant round the engine's internal circuit, keeping flow through the block and head so heat is carried away to the heat exchanger instead of building up locally.

⚠️ Common Signs of Failure

• Temperature climbing, or hot and cold patches around the engine
• Coolant weeping or dripping from the pump body
• Rumbling, growling or squealing that follows engine speed
• Play or roughness felt at the pulley or shaft
• Rust-stained trails or coolant crusting below the pump

🛠️ Service Notes

• Renew the gasket and o-rings and check the belt condition and tension on fitting
• Flush the circuit and check the thermostat and heat exchanger before assuming the pump was the whole problem
• Turn the new pump by hand before fitting to confirm it runs free and quiet
