🔌 Function

Measures manifold air temperature and manifold absolute pressure and reports both to the control system, which uses them to set fuelling and ignition timing.

• Check the sensor port and its hose for oil or carbon blockage before replacing the unit - a blocked port mimics a failed sensor
• Sensor 3858979 is a separate item on this range and is marked as not connected to the engine harness
• Renew the sealing o-ring where the sensor enters the manifold
