🔧 Product Description

Genuine Volvo Penta tube from the Marine Propulsion group, weighing 0.062 kg. It is the lighter of the two drive-side tubes in this range — 3860252 is 0.156 kg and covers DP and SX drives — and carries no variant marking, so order it by part number.

⚙️ Key Features

  • 0.062 kg
  • Marine Propulsion group
  • Lighter of the pair with tube 3860252
  • No variant marking — order by part number

🔌 Function

Carries oil, water or air between two points in the drive, holding its shape and route so the connection is not strained.

⚠️ Common Signs of Failure

  • Weeping or staining at either end fitting
  • Tube kinked, flattened or chafed where it passes a bracket
  • Corrosion pitting or perforation along the run
  • End thread or flare damaged so the joint will not seal

🛠️ Service Notes

  • Renew the seals or sealing washers at both ends and support the tube in its original clips
  • Do not straighten and reuse a kinked tube — the restriction stays even after the kink is dressed out

📦 Condition

  • Genuine Volvo Penta part
  • Brand new
  • Supplied in original or equivalent packaging
