This propeller is the 14.75 x 17 size, left hand rotation.

🔌 Function

Converts the drive shaft torque into thrust, so its diameter, pitch and hand set the boat speed and how hard the engine has to work.

⚠️ Common Signs of Failure

• Engine reaching the rev limiter easily but the boat short of speed
• Vibration that follows engine speed
• Blade edges chipped or eroded, or a tip missing
• Line or weed caught behind the hub
• Hub slipping so revs run up under load

• Hand matters on a twin installation - this is the left hand propeller, and the right hand options are 3862462, 3860708, 3860709 and 3860710
• This is the finest pitch in the stainless set at 17 inch, which suits a heavily loaded boat but costs top speed
• Renew the propeller nut hardware and grease the shaft splines when refitting
• Installation hardware for the 3 and 4-blade propellers for the SX drive: split pin 3852056, propeller nut 3850984, spacer 3852350 and thrust washer 3852020.
