Type GR is the stainless steel Duoprop range developed for the DPR high-speed drive, to maximise performance and efficiency. The high-performance blade geometry and great strength ensure maximum grip and manoeuvrability, and the high strength stainless steel alloy gives excellent durability and corrosion resistance. A shock-absorbing rubber bushing and galvanic isolation make it a matched fit for the DPR high-speed drive. This number supplies the complete GR7 pair, front propeller 3863501 and rear propeller 3863502. Every set of Duoprop propellers is designed, tested and manufactured together, so the front and rear propellers of a dimension belong to each other.

⚠️ Common Signs of Failure

• Vibration through the hull that grows with speed
• Blade edges chipped, curled or bent
• Loss of top speed or the engine over-revving
• Grooved or frosted blade faces from cavitation
• Hub slipping so revs rise without thrust

🛠️ Service Notes

• If only one wheel is damaged, order the front 3863501 or the rear 3863502 rather than the whole set
• The neighbouring sizes are the GR8 set 3863493 and the GR9 set 3863494 - the GR marking is the only reliable guide
• Check the shaft splines, the seals and the propeller locking hardware while the wheels are off
• Installation hardware, type GR: rear propeller nut 3863213 and front propeller nut 3863211.
