🔌 Function

Allows fuel to flow one way only, holding the line primed and stopping fuel from draining back when the engine stops.

  • Long cranking after the engine has stood, as the line has drained back
  • Rough running or a stumble as air is drawn into the fuel
  • Loss of prime that comes back after hand priming
  • Valve found stuck open or held off its seat by debris
  • Seat or seal face pitted or swollen

  • Note the flow direction marking before removal and fit the replacement the same way round
  • Check the fuel filters and lines for the debris that held the valve open, or it will happen again
