⚠️ Common Signs of Failure
- Squeal from the belt on start-up or when load comes on
- Belt dust or black residue around the pulleys
- Rumble or roughness felt when the tensioner is turned by hand
- Belt tracking off to one side of a pulley
- Undercharging as the belt slips under electrical load

- Turn each pulley by hand and listen for roughness, as a failing idler bearing gives the same symptoms
