🔧 Product Description

Genuine Volvo Penta pipe elbow in the 7 inch size, from the Inlet and Exhaust System group, weighing 3.67 kg and listed for 3 applications on TWD-series engines. The 7 inch size is the ordering detail.

🚤 Compatibility

Typically suits:

  • Volvo Penta TWD1643GE
  • Volvo Penta TWD1652GE
  • Volvo Penta TWD1653GE
  • Engine Family: TWD

⚙️ Key Features

  • 7 inch size
  • 3.67 kg
  • Inlet and Exhaust System pipe elbow
  • Listed for 3 TWD-series applications

🔌 Function

Turns the exhaust or inlet run through an angle at a fixed bore, keeping the gas path clear and the flange positions correct.

⚠️ Common Signs of Failure

  • Soot staining or a blowing noise at a joint
  • Corrosion pinholes or cracking at the bend
  • Flange distorted so the joint will not seal
  • Internal bore found heavily scaled or eroded

🛠️ Service Notes

  • Check the size against the existing elbow, as bore is what separates the elbows in this range
  • Renew the joint gaskets and clamps and check the flange faces for flatness

  • Brand new
