Like the rest of the EVC instrument range it carries an anti-fogging membrane, full backlighting and a plug-and-play serial connection, and takes a separately ordered front ring.

Displays four engine and drive readings on a single 110 mm dial so the helm can be monitored at a glance.

⚠️ Common Signs of Failure

• One of the four readings dead or stuck while the others work
• Trim reading that does not follow the drive through its range
• Backlighting dim or failed
• Condensation or staining behind the glass
• Reading that changes when the loom is moved

🛠️ Service Notes

• The near-identical gauge 3885214 shows oil pressure in place of drive trim position and is not listed for D1/D2 or for D3 A-C up to model year 2009, so order by the readings you need rather than by weight
• Front ring mounting kit 3885216 gives the chrome 110 mm ring for a panel 0 to 15 mm thick, and 3847888 is the black version
• Check the trim sender and its wiring before condemning the gauge
• Front ring and mounting items are not supplied with the instrument and are ordered separately: 52 mm black 874709 or chrome 874733, 85 mm black 874708 or chrome 874732, 110 mm black 3847888 or chrome 3885216 for panels up to 12 mm (15 mm at 110 mm); 881611/881613 in 52 mm and 881612/881614 in 85 mm for panels 12-25 mm; X-rings 874843 in 52 mm and 874844 in 85 mm for flush mounting
• Four versions are listed and dial colour and the fourth reading are what separate them: 3847876 is black and reads coolant temperature, voltage, oil pressure and fuel level; 3885214 is white and reads coolant temperature, voltage, oil pressure and fuel level; 3847879 is black and reads coolant temperature, voltage, trim and fuel level
