  • Coolant weeping at a hose end, or dried deposits around the clamp
  • Hose soft, spongy or bulging near a joint
  • Hose hardened and cracked, or collapsing when hot
  • The engine running warm from restricted flow
  • Clamps corroded or cutting into the hose

🛠️ Service Notes

  • Renew the clamps with the hose and clean the spigots, since a corroded spigot will not seal a new hose
  • Refill and bleed the cooling system after fitting and check for leaks at working temperature
