🔧 Product Description

Genuine Volvo Penta fuel filter housing weighing 2.223 kg. No engine fitment is published against this number, so confirm the application against your parts list or engine serial number before ordering.

⚙️ Key Features

  • 2.223 kg
  • Fuel filter housing
  • No published engine fitment, so the application needs confirming

🔌 Function

Holds the fuel filter element and carries the fuel through it under pressure, sealing the filter into the fuel system.

⚠️ Common Signs of Failure

  • Diesel weeping from the housing, its seals or the filter seat
  • Air drawn in, giving hard starting or a stumble under load
  • Fuel starvation or a loss of power under load
  • Cracked housing or a stripped filter or bleed thread
  • Corrosion or water damage inside the housing

🛠️ Service Notes

  • Ask us to confirm the housing against your engine before ordering, as no fitment list is published for this number
  • Renew the filter element and all seals when the housing is fitted, then bleed the system and check for leaks at working pressure
  • Leaking diesel in an engine space is a fire risk, so do not run the engine until the joints are dry

📦 Condition

  • Genuine Volvo Penta part
  • Brand new
  • Supplied in original or equivalent packaging
