Genuine Volvo Penta shim, 0.30 mm thick, from the Engine group and listed for 21 applications across the TWD, TID, TAMD, TD and TAD series. It is the third of four graded shims, with 3978758 at 0.12 mm, 3978759 at 0.20 mm and 3978761 at 0.50 mm. Its published weight is far higher than that of the thicker 0.50 mm shim, which confirms the weights in this series are not a usable guide.
