🔧 Product Description
Genuine Tohatsu / Nissan 60°C Thermostat - Part Number: 3C7-01030-0
A genuine Tohatsu/Nissan 60°C cooling-system thermostat for selected 60-140 HP two-stroke and TLDI outboards. It regulates coolant flow through the cylinder block so the engine warms correctly at idle while receiving full cooling flow under load.
⚙️ Key Features
• Genuine Tohatsu/Nissan wax-pellet thermostat
• Nominal opening specification: 60°C
• Correct flange, valve travel and spring calibration for the 3C7 cooling system
• Used on conventional two-stroke and direct-injection TLDI engines
• Thermostat cover gasket should be inspected and renewed separately where required
🔄 Supersession & Cross Reference
OEM Supersession Chain:
• 3C7-01030-0 / 3C7010300M → current genuine service reference
• 3T9-01032-1 → alternate/cross-referenced thermostat on selected applications; verify by engine diagram

• M120A and M120A2
• M140A and M140A2
Typically suits:
• HP Range: 60-140 HP
• Engine / System Type: Two-stroke or TLDI outboard cooling system
• Year Range: Approximately 1990s-2018, model dependent
• Serial / Identification Range: Confirm the complete model code and thermostat diagram. Some adjacent 60-140 HP families use different thermostat temperatures or housing arrangements.
🔌 Function
Restricts cooling-water flow while the engine is cold, then progressively opens near its calibrated temperature to stabilise combustion temperature and prevent overheating.
Common signs replacement or service is required:
• Engine runs too cold, idles poorly or produces excess carbon
• Overheat warning despite adequate water-pump output
• Thermostat is stuck open, stuck closed or heavily corroded
• Salt deposits restrict valve movement
• Thermostat does not begin opening near the specified temperature
📦 Condition
• Genuine Tohatsu / Nissan OEM part, brand new.
• Brand new
• Supplied in manufacturer or equivalent protective packaging
