Aftermarket Tohatsu/Nissan Marine starter motor - Part Number: 3KY-76010-0

A 12-volt permanent-magnet gear-reduction starter designed for selected Tohatsu MFS-series EFI four-stroke outboards. The compact 1.4kW unit uses a nine-tooth pinion and counter-clockwise motor rotation when viewed from the drive end. It replaces the original Hitachi S114-966-series starter fitted to the applicable 3KY engine platform.

Correct selection must be based on the complete engine model and the number stamped on the original starter. Later MFS60 and higher-horsepower engines can use different 3UR or model-specific starters even where an aftermarket catalogue groups them under the same horsepower family.

🔌 Function
