⚙️ Key Features

  • 2.629 kg
  • Listed for 9 applications on D-series engines
  • Consolidates 3583645, 3819768, 40005780 and 40005717
  • Companion to the heavier tube 40005786

🔌 Function

Carries flow between two points on the engine along a rigid route, holding the joint seals at each end.

⚠️ Common Signs of Failure

  • Weep, hiss or staining at a joint
  • Tube dented, chafed or kinked so flow is restricted
  • Cracks at a bend, a weld or a flange
  • Corrosion or scaling inside the bore
  • Fretting where the tube touches another part

🛠️ Service Notes

  • Because four earlier numbers now consolidate into this one, an older parts list may point you to a superseded number - this is the current part
  • Renew the joint seals and support the tube in its original clips so it cannot fret
