41100883 Shaft Set | Genuine Volvo Penta Part

🔧 Product Description

Genuine Volvo Penta shaft set from the Industrial and Marine Equipment group, weighing 0.168 kg. It supersedes part numbers 41100845 and 41100840, one of which was catalogued earlier as a pulley, so what was once ordered as a separate pulley now arrives as a shaft set.

⚙️ Key Features

• 0.168 kg
• Supersedes 41100845 and 41100840
• One superseded number was previously catalogued as a pulley
• Supplied as a matched set

🔌 Function

Carries the drive between the motor and the output, supplied as a matched shaft assembly rather than as separate pieces.

⚠️ Common Signs of Failure

• Whining or knocking from the drive
• Play or wobble at the shaft
• Keyway, pin hole or tooth profile worn on strip-down
• Belt jumping or misrunning where the shaft carries a pulley
• Shaft scored or rust-marked where a seal runs

🛠️ Service Notes

• If you previously ordered the number listed as a pulley, expect a shaft set in the box - check what is included before stripping the unit
• Renew the bearing kit and sealing kit at the same time, since the shaft has to come out anyway
