- Reduced or lost water flow from the outlet
- Overheat warning or rising coolant temperature
- Squealing or dry rubbing noise from the pump
- Vanes found torn, cracked or missing on strip-down
- Rubber debris lodged downstream in the cooling circuit
🛠️ Service Notes
- If vanes have broken away, find and remove the pieces downstream or the next restriction will cause another overheat
- Never run the pump dry, even briefly, and lubricate the new impeller before fitting
- Fit all the seals and gaskets in the kit rather than reusing the old ones
