🚤 Compatibility

• Engine Family: AQ, BB, MD, B, MB, AQD

Full model list at the end of this description.

⚙️ Key Features

• Early type
• Supersedes 850413, 876223 and 876221
• One superseded number was a reversing gear, not a ring
• 49 applications across six engine series
• 22mm (Volvo assembly listing)
• Quantity varies by assembly, most commonly one

🔌 Function

Seals the joint it is fitted to against leakage past the mating faces.

⚠️ Common Signs of Failure

• Weep or drip at the joint the ring seals
• Ring hardened, flattened or taking a set
• Ring split or nipped on assembly
• Fluid loss with no obvious external leak

🛠️ Service Notes

• This is the early type — establish which version the engine carries before ordering
• One of the superseded numbers covered a reversing gear, so an old parts reference may have meant far more than this ring
