This genuine Sea-Doo noise sensor is used in the engine-management system to detect detonation / knock activity on Sea-Doo 4-TEC and ACE engines. It sends vibration information to the ECU so the control system can protect the engine by adjusting operating strategy when abnormal combustion is detected.
