Carries pressurised oil from the pump or gallery to the component it feeds, on a rigid formed pipe run.

⚠️ Common Signs of Failure

  • Oil seeping or spraying from a union or flare
  • Chafed or fretted section where the pipe touches the block
  • Cracks at a bend or at the brazed end fitting
  • Low or fluctuating oil pressure at the gauge
  • Union nut thread stretched or the flare distorted

🛠️ Service Notes

  • Oil pressure pipes 420993 and 420994 are the heavier pipes for the TWD, TD and TAMD engines, so order by part number rather than by name
  • Clip the pipe as it was originally routed so it cannot chafe, and renew the union washers
