A genuine BRP cooling-system thermostat for selected Johnson and Evinrude V4 and V6 two-stroke outboards.

The thermostat remains closed during initial warm-up and begins opening near its calibrated temperature, allowing cooling water to circulate through the cylinder block while maintaining sufficient engine temperature for clean combustion and stable running.
