⚙️ Key Features

• 680 mm diameter
• 6 hole mounting
• 10.108 kg, a large and heavy item to ship
• 22 applications across TWD, TID and TD engines
• 680mm (Volvo assembly listing)

🔌 Function

Draws or pushes air through the radiator core so the coolant can shed its heat, driven from the engine at a fixed ratio.

⚠️ Common Signs of Failure

• Coolant temperature rising at load with reduced airflow
• Vibration or a rhythmic beat that changes with engine speed
• Blades cracked at the root, bent or with pieces missing
• Rivets or mounting holes loose, worn or elongated
• Rubbing or scraping noise where a blade touches the cowl

🛠️ Service Notes

• A cracked or repaired fan must be replaced, not straightened, as a blade shed at speed is dangerous and will wreck the cowl and radiator
• Check the 6 hole pattern and the 680 mm diameter against the old fan and confirm hub clearance in the cowl
• Renew the mounting fasteners and check the drive pulley and belt tension at the same time
