Draws oil from the sump and delivers it under pressure to the bearings, cooling jets and galleries throughout the engine.

• Oil pressure low, slow to rise or falling away when hot
• Warning light flickering at idle or when hot
• Whine or rumble from the front of the engine
• Gear faces and pump body worn, with excessive end clearance
• Metallic debris in the sump and on the filter element

🛠️ Service Notes

• Because the published serial range is only half given, confirm the engine build before ordering
• Establish why the old pump failed, as debris in the oil will take out a new pump, and clean the sump and suction strainer
• Prime the pump and check pressure on first start before loading the engine
