🔌 Function

The sea water pump impeller rotates inside the raw-water pump body to draw cooling water from outside the vessel and circulate it through the engine's cooling system. A worn, hardened or damaged impeller can reduce water flow and cause overheating, especially at idle, low speed or under load.
