⚙️ Key Features
- 0.009 kg
- 6 applications on TAD series engines
- Not part of 17428870
- Power Take-Off group
🔌 Function
Meters flow through a passage by presenting a fixed small orifice, holding pressure upstream and limiting the volume that passes downstream.
⚠️ Common Signs of Failure
- Pressure high or low in the circuit the jet controls
- Component downstream running hot or starved
- Jet orifice found blocked with varnish or debris
- Jet missing entirely after a previous repair, giving uncontrolled flow
🛠️ Service Notes
- Because it is not included in 17428870, check the jet is present and clear whenever that assembly is fitted
- Never open out a blocked jet with a drill or wire - the orifice size is the whole function of the part
