Dayco Poly-V Belt - 4PK1245

Dayco developed the first Polyrib (multi-rib) belt for the Ford Mustang in the USA in 1979. The multiple rib and flat design gives better belt-to-pulley contact for less slippage than conventional V-belts, and the multiple ribs eliminate the need for matching while allowing controlled slippage in overload situations, such as when an A/C compressor engages.
