Aftermarket reverse-entry marine starter motor - Part Number: 50-808011A05

A 12-volt permanent-magnet gear-reduction starter for selected MerCruiser, Crusader, Pleasurecraft/PCM and Volvo Penta petrol inboard and sterndrive engines. This rear-entry, nine-tooth starter is configured for the applicable left-hand/standard engine installation and provides approximately 1.6-1.7kW output.

The mounting pattern, engine rotation, flywheel size and solenoid position must match the original unit. Reverse-rotation and top-mount applications can require a different starter even when the engine displacement is identical.
