Aftermarket Mercury/Mariner four-stroke outboard starter motor - Part Number: 50-859168T

A 12-volt permanent-magnet direct-drive starter for selected 8HP, 9.9HP, 13.5HP and 15HP Mercury/Mariner four-stroke outboards using the 323cc twin-cylinder powerhead. The nine-tooth counter-clockwise starter replaces the earlier 50-852570 starter family.

This unit is not intended for the smaller Japanese-built two-stroke engines or later Tohatsu-derived EFI platforms. The complete serial number and the physical pinion-retention design must match the original starter.

🔌 Function
