Aftermarket Mercury/Mariner 30 Jet and 40-50HP outboard starter motor - Part Number: 50-898265005

A ten-tooth starter for selected Mercury and Mariner carburetted two-stroke outboards, principally four-cylinder 40HP, 45HP and 50HP engines plus selected 30 Jet applications. It replaces the earlier 50-73521/50-73521T starter family and is not a MerCruiser inboard starter.

The physical starter length and mounting must be checked because Mercury used several ten-tooth starters across nearby horsepower ranges.
