Aftermarket Mercury/Mariner 225-250HP 3.0L outboard starter motor - Part Number: 50-898265009
A 12-volt, eight-tooth starter for selected late-model Mercury and Mariner 3.0L V6 two-stroke outboards. It is principally used on 225HP and 250HP EFI engines from the mid-1990s through approximately 2000 and replaces the 50-818445 starter family.
This unit differs from the 50-893893 starter used on many 2.0L/2.5L V6 engines. Confirm the original 818445/898265009 number before ordering.
