🔧 Product Description
Aftermarket MerCruiser 4.5L and 6.2L MPI starter motor - Part Number: 50-8M0095471
A compact 12-volt, approximately 1.4kW starter for Mercury-designed MerCruiser 4.5L V6 and 6.2L V8 MPI engines. These engines use Mercury's modern purpose-built marine block rather than the earlier GM 4.3L/5.7L architecture.
The electrical plug is positioned at the rear of the solenoid on the applicable unit. Confirm engine serial number and connector orientation because visually similar starters from older GM-based packages are not interchangeable.

• 12V marine starter
• Approximately 1.4kW output
• Designed for Mercury-built 4.5L V6 and 6.2L V8 MPI engines
