• 2002 Evinrude 150HP FICHT
• Selected 135HP, 150HP and 175HP V6 engine families
Important fitment note:
• FICHT injectors must not be selected by horsepower alone.
• Confirm the complete injector number, injector identification markings, cylinder-head design and EMM application.
• Injector replacement may require diagnostic verification or injector-related programming procedures.
• Do not mix unknown injectors between cylinders without following the applicable BRP service information.
🔌 Function
The EMM commands the injector to deliver fuel directly into the combustion chamber at a precise point in the engine cycle.
Common signs of injector failure:
• Engine misfires on one cylinder
• Difficult starting
• One spark plug remains unusually dry or wet
• Excessive smoke
• Reduced power
• Cylinder contribution fault
• Injector circuit fault code
• Injector coil is open or shorted
• Fuel leaks around the injector adaptor
• Engine knocks or runs lean
• Piston damage caused by inadequate fuel delivery
Recommended checks before installation:
• Confirm the injector number and identification markings
• Inspect electrical terminals
• Test injector coil resistance using the correct service procedure
• Check the EMM and injector-driver circuit
• Inspect the injector adaptor, seals and combustion seal
• Replace all required sealing components
• Clean the mounting bore
• Use the correct torque procedure
• Perform cylinder contribution and injector diagnostics
• Check fuel pressure and fuel quality before returning the engine to service
📦 Condition
• Genuine OMC, Evinrude or Johnson used part
• Pre-owned high-precision fuel injector
